Tabaimo
Tabaimo (Ayako Tabata) is an internationally recognized Japanese contemporary video artist. Combining hand-drawn animation inspired by traditional ukiyo-e woodblock prints with immersive multi-channel installations, her work addresses psychological anxiety, urban isolation, and social dynamics in contemporary Japanese culture. She represented Japan at the 54th Venice Biennale in 2011.
