Sonia Boyce is a pioneering British artist and academic who came to prominence as part of the Black British Arts Movement in the 1980s. In 2022, she won the prestigious Golden Lion at the 59th Venice Biennale for her installation 'Feeling Her Way' representing Great Britain.
