Jorge Molder is one of Portugal's most internationally recognized fine art photographers. His staged self-portraits, rendered in dramatic black-and-white tonal contrast, evoke cinematic narrative, psychological interiority, and literary existentialism. He represented Portugal at the 48th Venice Biennale in 1999.
