Sally Gabori (Mirdidingkingathi Juwarnda Sally Gabori) was a Kaiadilt Indigenous Australian artist from Bentinck Island who began painting at age 80. Her expressive, highly vibrant abstract oil paintings detailing her ancestral lands achieved major international acclaim, culminating in a landmark solo survey at Fondation Cartier in Paris.
