Ali Cherri is a Lebanese visual artist and filmmaker living and working in Paris and Beirut. His practice spans sculpture, film, drawing, and performance, frequently addressing themes of memory, heritage, political violence, and the historical narratives embedded in artifacts and landscapes. He was awarded the Silver Lion at the 59th Venice Biennale in 2022.
