Jeffrey Gibson is an Indigenous American visual artist of Choctaw and Cherokee heritage whose practice incorporates traditional craft methods—including beadwork, quilting, and fringe—with modern geometric abstraction, popular culture, and queer aesthetics. In 2024, Gibson represented the United States with a solo pavilion at the 60th Venice Biennale.
