Vincent Namatjira is an Indigenous Australian painter celebrated for his satirical and subversive portraits of political leaders, British royalty, and cultural icons, often placing himself or his great-grandfather Albert Namatjira within the narrative. In 2020, he became the first Indigenous artist to win the prestigious Archibald Prize.
